The Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week is to make something bright and cheery to chase away the winter gray. There are so many precious images available here. This little girl was fun to color with her polka dot dress, curly hair, and hairbows. I used Glossy Accents on the balloon and bubble, but it doesn't really show in the picture. I tried a new technique for making my own baker's twine and it worked great. I forgot where I saw it posted to wrap some plain white twine around a ruler and then color stripes with your Copics and it worked. I used orange and made the string for her balloon. I hope you like it!
I will submit this card for several other challenges:
The Pink Elephant: use your favorite colors( I love the blue and orange combo)
Pollycraft: Bingo challenge (ribbon, button, die cut)
Papertake Weekly : use buttons, bows, bling, blooms (any or all)

It's beautiful. Certainly bright and cheery and you did an amazing job with the coloring of the image. . . .and that twine on her balloon! How creative is that. Love it.
