A Stitch in Time

Hi! It's time for another challenge at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog.  We want to see stitching either real or faux on your project.  We have these 3 sponsors with great prizes just waiting to be won:
Lacy Sunshine Stamps-3 images of choice
Heartfelt Creations- $25 gift certificate
Angie's Digi Stamps-3 images of choice

This time my challenge was to use one of my own rubber stamps. I dusted off Fixabella from Stamping Bella
to make a card for my son-in-law. He and my daughter bought an older house and he's doing most of the improvements himself. This image is perfect for him! I'm not sure these stamps are available any more which is a shame. I used faux stitching around the image and sewed an irregular border around the edge. I have a hard time getting my stitches straight, so I went for a purposefully crooked look. ;)The tools are a Meljen's Design freebie from a long time ago that I printed 3 times, cut out and glued together. and then colored the top one.

Thank you for stopping by and hopefully you'll join us at Love to Scrap. We'd love to see what you are making.  Have a great day!
