Summer's End

Happy Tuesday that feels like Monday!

This week Bugaboo has a Recipe Challenge. 

The Recipe is Summer's End-Use bling, the color teal, and a die or punch. 

I decided on old Gus at the beach, my beach punch, and stickled up the sun and added gems for the bling. 

I used Sketch Saturday #224 for the layout.

Sweet Tea

Hi! Hope you're enjoying the long weekend. Even though it's almost September it's still HOT and humid here, so it's not too late for one more summertime card. Penny Black's August Challenge is "Floral Fantasy". I used PB "Cheers". I love this little moo cow who isn't embarressed one bit to wear her bikini. Good for her! I colored her with Prisma pencils and gave her a glass of sweet tea. The sentiment is computer generated and my take on one I've seen here and there. The layout sketch # 274  from Sketch Saturday.

Happy 4th! I've had this great freebie image from Kenny K for a while and thought it was perfect for a summer card. The challenge this week is dots and stripes.

Beach/Summer

Hi Everyone! I finally got a card finished this week.  My Dr. says I have tendonitis in my right index finger so doing just about everything is awkward and slow going.   Oh well..I'm hoping the meds clear it up before long. I colored this image with Prismas and used "Scattered Straw" Stickles for the sand. I really think it works great for beach sand.  The paper edges and border are inked with "Brushed Corduroy" Distress ink.  The image is an Inkadinkado stamp that I've had for a while. Next time I use it I'll make a larger card. It's really almost too big for this 4x6 size.

Summer Fun

Happy Tuesday!  It is soooo hot here so I've been staying inside in the AC playing in my craft room.  I made this card for the House Mouse
"Summer Holidays and Summertime Fun" Challenge.    The image is called "Bunny Cruise" and is one of my HM favorites. I colored him with Prisma pencils and added Glossy Accents to his lemonade. I love the summery colors in this paper pad from Me & My Big Ideas. 
The sun was cut from Doodlecharms with a Peachy Keen face stamp and chalk added.  I cut the waves with Make the Cut and  added Diamond Stickles. I noticed in the picture that the waves had buckled a little. I'll fix that after they've dried.  I had this little ducky button from WalMart and glued him over the duck on the stamp.  Thanks for looking.

Beach Puppy

Happiness is being at the beach. I've had this cute little puppy from Serendipity Stamps for a while.  I see that he's 50% off now at their online store. I used the sketch from the Papertake Weekly Challenge . The sentiment is a metal sticker that says "Happiness is..." It didn't show up very well  in this picture. I added Glossy accents to the sunglasses, his nose, and beach ball. The sand is "Scattered Straw" Distress Stickles. Thank you for looking!
