Beach Baby

Happy Friday! It really is a happy time around here. We're finally able to tell the news that my niece and her husband are expecting their first baby! My little brother will be a grandpa by next summer and he and his wife can't wait to take the little one to the beach. I made this for them to look at until they've got a baby to photograph. That's supposed to be their flip flopped feet on the side. I cut the Polaroid frame on my Cricut and backed it with a picture from the beach and pier that they visit. The umbrella, bucket, and words are all from Life is a Beach cart (I think) and the baby is from New Arrival with a Peachy Keen face. The beach ball, shell, and flip flops are stamps.  It's an easel card, but I didn't take a picture of the bottom part. :(

Allie and Angel

I was so happy to be asked by  Love to Create to be their guest designer for this week's challenge.
The sponsor is Stampart Design by Kathryn at Whimsy Stamps. I chose "Allie and Angel" available here for my card. It comes with a bonus sentiment, too! The challenge this week is "Bright and Sunny". This image was so much fun to color with Copics. The papers are from a My Girl paper pad from My Mind's Eye.
The gnome peeking around the corner is a Google image that I colored and painted with Crackle Paint.
My neighbor has one by her fence and I've always liked looking at him peeking at me so added one here.

Dottie Birthday

I used one of my favorite Bugaboo stamps for this card. She's called "Dottie Cupcake" available here. 
On the inside it says, Calories Don't Count.  I've always liked that sentiment for a birthday card and is something of a way of life with me.  After looking at this photo I'll go back and add some twine to that button cause it looks naked. LOL! Thanks for stopping by.

Bugaboo Birthday Card

This is the card I made for the Little Miss Muffet Sketch Challenge. 

I used a Bugaboo stamp called Girl Bear available here.  I'll enter this one in the  Anything Goes Challenge at  Catch the Bug. 

The colors look a little wonky in the photo. The balloon looks fluorescent and two of the gems look royal blue instead of purple. You can't really see the dots on her hairbow either. Thanks for looking!

Congratulations!

I'm so glad that I bought this "France Honey" digi from Sassy Studio Designs when I did, because I couldn't find it in their shop now to link to it. My future daughter-in-law majored in French and I got it for a Congratulations card when she got her first teaching job as a French teacher. She starts this fall!

I saw that Sassy Studio's Challenge is to make an easel card, so that's what I did! I couldn't resist adding some little Peachy Keen eyeglasses on her.
